"For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.” - Matthew 18:20
What does a home gathering look like?
We are launching home gatherings as part of an integrated response to the gathering restrictions implemented in response to COVID-19.
As such, home gatherings will be small (growing as restrictions and comfort levels allow), and consist of 2-3 families committed to the community and health of all attendees.
Home gatherings must adhere to current Alberta guidelines (see here).
In person gatherings are optional and may be augmented by including online group members who choose to participate remotely by viewing online services utilizing the chat and host features.
What will home gatherings do?
We share the desire for more meaningful community, and feel that home gatherings can facilitate tangible ways to connect, participate in online worship gatherings, and encourage one another. We believe home gatherings are a powerhouse for building community during this time.
What if my family is already meeting in a cohort?
If you're family is already meeting with 1 or 2 others as a cohort to participate in online services - that's great! Please share with us, as we want to encourage and resource you at this time.
How can I get involved?
Please contact us (click here), and we'll help to connect you with an available home gathering in your area.
What about larger gatherings?
We have some larger outdoor gatherings planned this summer to provide opportunity to connect with the larger church family. Mark these dates in your calendar, and stay tuned for more details (or subscribe for weekly updates).
